An autumn school co-organised by the University of Vienna and the YUNG YiDiSH library and cultural centre

The school will take place in English (and Yiddish) between 18-22 September 2023 at the University of Vienna.

Our expert teachers will acquaint you with the Yiddish alphabet. You will learn about different Yiddish scripts used at different times and places over the thousand-year history of Yiddish. Through these written texts, our expert teachers will open your eyes to the rich cultural world of Ashkenazi Jews.
